Photo by Jason Zindroskie This past weekend I raced the Traverse, put on by the Warriors Society of Southern California. It’s 40+ mile mountain bike race with 8,000 feet of climbing. Tim Panttaja of switchbackcyclery helped out with organizing the race and did a great job. We ended up with a descent time and I was the first female across the finish line: 4:59. We were 11th overall. I definitely held Mario back, but if you ask, hed just say, I like to ride my bikeHe is an accomplished multi-day, 12- and 24-hour solo endurance mountain bike racer.
